As a doula and integrative and functional nutritionist, serving the Charlotte and Lake Norman areas of North Carolina, I support individuals and families improve their overall health, their birth outcome, and mental wellness through the experiences of reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum period and beyond. I use such tools and services as doula support through pregnancy, labor/birth and postpartum, childbirth education classes, as well as integrative and functional nutritional guidance and education. Providing these services has been shown to increase positive birth outcomes, reduce cesarean section births, reduce postpartum mental disorders such as postpartum depression/anxiety (PPD/A) and postpartum post-traumatic stress disorder, (PPTSD) increase breast/chest-feeding success and duration, and strengthen the holistic health of the entire family.
