Heather Corsello is a licensed therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals overcome challenges, recognize their strengths, and achieve personal growth. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Winona State University in Minnesota and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Heather brings over 20 years of experience as a social worker, supporting children and adults across diverse settings. Her professional background includes working in school systems with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and intellectual disabilities, as well as supporting adults in long-term care facilities.
Heather works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, attentional challenges, neurodivergence, and those on the autism spectrum—approaching these qualities as strengths and “superpowers” rather than limitations.
Heather takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients develop coping skills, build resilience, and cultivate self-awareness and self-compassion. She integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, tailoring care to each individual’s unique needs.
She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
